MEET THE TEAM

Richard Lyons
BSc ( Hons ) MRICS

 

Having specialised in Retail & Leisure property for over 20 years, prior to establishing Lyons Thompson Letts, Richard has previously held senior positions in niche retail & leisure consultancies in both London and Manchester, having most recently been a Director within a major national property consultancy.

Richard’s principal role is the leasing of High Street retail & leisure, Shopping Centre and Out of Town property  throughout the north of England, as well as providing advice to occupiers in respect of acquisition and disposal programmes. In addition he provides strategic asset management and development advice to clients on existing portfolios as well as urban regeneration projects.

His clients include major UK Pension Funds, Developers, Private investors and Public Sector bodies, together with a broad range of occupiers, national and independent.

Jonathan Thompson
BSc (Hons) MRICS

 

Jonathan specialises in city centre retail and leisure leasing, with a strong emphasis on Manchester and Liverpool city centre landlord instructions.

Current projects include Circle Square in Manchester city centre. A new mixed use development providing over 1.2 million sq ft of Grade A offices, 100,000 sq ft of new retail and leisure accommodation, residential, hotels and car park.

Jonathan is also providing strategic leasing and professional advice to DTZ Investors on their King Street portfolio in Manchester as this continues to grow and develop.

He also advises a number of property funds and companies on their holdings across the north of England including Capital and Regional, Allied London, Kames Capital, Starbucks and Bruntwood.

Tim Letts
BSc (Hons ) MRICS

 

Tim’s role is focussed on shopping centres and town centre regeneration projects advising on all aspect of retail and leisure extensions and developments. He has been involved with many notable town centre developments’ and current regeneration projects including, Wigan town centre – 3.2 hectare Galleries site,  Chorley Market Walk – 70,000 Sqft Flat Iron extension and Riverside, Rochdale – 150,000Sqft retail/leisure scheme.

Tim enjoys working closely with both the architect and developer from the initial stages of a project to ensure a coordinated approach.

More recently clients include Local Authorities, who are becoming more active stakeholders their town centres, requiring place-making advice.

Tim currently provides leasing advice for owners including Cityheart, Capital & Regional, Genr8, Eskmuir, Patrizia, Moorgarth, Augur Group, Scarborough Group, Aberdeen Standard and AEW.
